The illustration of the waves and yellow sky looks like something right out of dream. I choked on much lunch when I read, "He’s relatively young — still in his twenties." I turn 39 on Sunday. The talk sounds like it was tremendous; I'm sorry I missed it, and very glad to have your commentary. I love the mix in this samples of the splashing spilled backgrounds (make me think of Ester eggs) and the detailed line drawings, plus the color choices. Very sweet. Also the marker writing on top of the illustrations. It's rich. I want to find ways to bring that to the web, which is very un- all of that. Sometimes I find it hard to balance my appreciation and admiration of others' success with my own aspirations. I think we each see more in others than we do in ourselves; the grass is always greener and all that. I believe that the important things are: keep doing; never give up; be kind. Fantastic stuff.
